ABOUT THE COURSE AREA:

This one-month AR/VR Development using Unity course is designed for students, freshers, engineers, and working professionals who want to learn practical Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) application development using the Unity Engine. This program introduces learners to AR/VR concepts, Unity fundamentals, immersive application development, Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration, backend connectivity, and Digital Twin technology. In this course, learners will study the fundamentals of AR, VR, MR and Extended Reality (XR), Unity Hub and Unity Editor, Unity interface and UI system, Game Objects, Transform, Collider and Rigidbody components, AR Foundation, plane detection and AR camera configuration, VR camera rig setup and immersive VR environments, AI-powered virtual characters, backend integration using Firebase, and Digital Twin architecture and workflow. This course is highly useful for immersive technology product development, industrial AR/VR training, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0 applications, gaming and simulation, and Digital Twin based monitoring systems. After completing this course, students can apply for job roles such as AR/VR Developer, Unity Developer, XR Application Engineer, Immersive Technology Engineer, AI Integration Engineer, Digital Twin Engineer, Game Developer, and AR/VR Solutions Architect. AR/VR development skills are useful in many companies working in gaming, industrial automation, education technology, healthcare simulation, real estate visualization, automotive design, defence training, and Industry 4.0 solutions. LEARNING OUTCOME:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1.    Fundamentals of AR, VR, MR and XR: Learners will understand the fundamentals of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR), along with AR/VR hardware, software, and Unity project setup. This helps them start immersive application development with proper technical understanding.

2.    AR Application Development using Unity: Learners will develop interactive AR applications using Unity and AR Foundation, including plane detection, environment tracking, and AR camera configuration. They will also learn to place, position, and interact with virtual objects, and build and test AR applications on Android devices.

3.    Virtual Reality Development: Learners will create immersive Virtual Reality environments using VR camera rig configuration, navigation, and teleportation concepts. They will understand user interaction, gaze-based interaction, lighting optimization, and VR application testing.

4.    AI Integration & Backend Connectivity: Learners will integrate AI-powered virtual characters with voice-based and text-based interaction into AR/VR applications, and connect applications to cloud databases using Firebase for user authentication and real-time data synchronization.

5.    Digital Twin & Industrial Applications: Learners will understand Digital Twin architecture and workflow, and how to integrate Digital Twin concepts with AR/VR for real-time data visualization in smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 applications.
