Contest Timeline: (Student Track)
Round 1 – PLAN
TATA Steel TomorrowLAB 2023 has 8 themes out of which registered teams need to select one topic of their choice to work upon and submit their business idea /proposal in maximum of 7 slides.
Timelines – 16th Nov’ 23 (00:01 AM IST) – 3rd Dec’ 23 (11:59 PM IST)
Round 2 – PITCH
Shortlisted 20 teams will have to expand on their ideas and build a comprehensive and nuanced strategy with the implementation roadmap. Deliverables include sharing a presentation (of up to 10 slides) along with supporting multimedia/prototype, if any.
Timelines – Will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
Round 3 – PERFORM (National Finale)
3 teams qualify for National finals (Round 3) with an opportunity to present their ideas to the Senior Leadership team of TATA Steel.
Timelines – Will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
Evaluation Criteria:
Participant’s submission ideas would be evaluated on below parameters:
Adjacency to Tata Steel Businesses
Feasibility
Scalability
Uniqueness of solution/Innovation Quotient
Impact/Gravity of the problem solved through solution
Long-term differentiating factor/ Entry barriers
Team Structure:
All Participating teams should consist of 3 members
Each member has to register with valid college email IDs
One person cannot be a member of more than one team
All the team members must be from the same institute /campus and they can be a mix of students from different specializations and different year of study
Leader of each team will need to register on Unstop website after having gone through all the rules and guidelines.
Case brief will be accessible to the registered teams from 16th Nov’23 on the competition page itself.

Team Size: 3 members
Eligibility – All students from B.Tech., MTech. and MBA irrespective of their specialization and year of study. One-year MBA/Executive MBA program students are also eligible.
Rewards:
A cash prize of INR 1 lac for Winner Team and INR 50k for Runner-up Team
TATA Steel Mementos to National Finalist teams
Certificate of Achievement would be given to National Finalist teams.
