INTRODUCTION:

    Idea Factory 2.0 - Online Idea Pitch, Workshop & Quiz Events (Online National Level Symposium), organized by Project Contest Innovations LLP, which is the 26th version of the PCI - IDEA (Innovation Development towards Entrepreneurship Accomplishment) Program Category. The program is designed and organized by Project Contest Innovations (PCI) LLP in collaboration with various industries to kick-start students' interest in their first step from ideation to innovation. During the event, students will present their ideas virtually to a jury panel of members from industries, incubators, or research centers. The event also includes workshops, a quiz event on emerging areas, to be led by industry partners. More than 500+ colleges and 7500+ participants presented their ideas and projects in previous editions.

The following events will be conducted online:

1. Idea Presentation & Project Demonstration

2. Workshop on "Embedded Applications with STM32: A Practical Start" (4 hrs)

3. Quiz on Internet of Things (50 Questions - 60 Min) through PCI Assessment Portal

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES:

• Students, as individuals or as a Team of up to 5 members, can participate.

• Presentation Slides (PPT) with a file size less than 5 MB to be submitted after the confirmation of registration with updated team details (New Link will be shared)

• Presentation to be delivered via Google Meet (Online) to the jury panel members.

• Each Team will be given 07 minutes for presenting + 03 minutes for Jury Interaction

• The Faculty Mentor will receive the Mentoring Certificate if Students enroll only as a Team (Min 3) & the Best Mentor Award if the team wins.

EVENT 2: Workshop:-

Title: Embedded Applications with STM32: A Practical Start

• Introduction to STM32 and ARM Cortex-M Architecture

• STM32 Development Environment and Project Setup

• GPIO Programming and Digital System Design

• Interrupt Handling and Event-Driven Programming

• Timers, Counters, and PWM Applications

• Analog-to-Digital Conversion and Sensor Interfacing

• Embedded Communication Protocols (UART, I2C, SPI)

• Human-Machine Interface Development

• Real-Time Embedded System Design

• Motor Control and Actuator Integration

• Environmental and Industrial Sensor Networks

EVENT 3: Quiz on Internet of Things:

Assessment Type: MCQ

Total No of Questions: 50 (25 - 1 Mark, 25 - 2 Mark)

Time Duration:  60 minutes

Conducted via: PCI Assessment Portal

IDEA EVENT PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:

• All College Innovators (Engineering, Arts, Science, Pharmacy, etc.) who are currently pursuing their degree in India can apply

• Payment can be made in the given UPI ID or NEFT, and the screenshot to be submitted in the registration Link.

• Only Team Leaders should upload the details on behalf of the team

• Students will be connected in a WhatsApp group for further proceedings
