Contest outline:
Smart India Hackathon 2019 (SIH2019) is a national initiative started by AICTE and MHRD aimed at providing students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and to inculcate a culture of product innovation and problem-solving mentality.
During the last edition of the hackathon, more than 5 million students from different engineering colleges competed for the first prize in more than 35 places.
In SIH 2019, students would also have the opportunity to work on the challenges facing private sector organizations and create world-class solutions for some of the world's largest companies, helping the private sector hire the best brains from the country.
